I am watching the In the Kitchen with David show and when Jimmy cut into the peach crumb cakes it was all full of mold!
They quickly cut away and showed a still shot while a peach crumb cake that was a cut one and one behind it was thrown away.
Must have been keep backstage too long. A shame as all his things look delicious.

I wondered if anyone else noticed that. Poor guy. The food stylist should have noticed that but who knows. Maybe the vendors do the setup themselves. I backed up the footage and took a photo. I won’t be buying those for sure.

Yes, I could puke.

That crumb topping is just too much dry flour & water thing. I took a knife and sliced it off - not buying again. Cinn ones are excellent. They should come frozen, like most other foods.........but (I think) Jimmy doesn't want to pay for insulated containers and dry ice. I saw another posting a while ago - customer posted about mold on product too.

Yikes....what a horrible thing! I feel bad for the vendor ....something like that sure doesn’t sell a lot of product.

@MKR14 ... I saw that too .... Too bad that happened .... his cakes are really good ... I ordered from him once & when I received the box it was crushed so bad that it looked like a tractor trailer ran it over .... I called QVC & got a replacement but unfortunately the replacement box was actually open when I received it so I called Jimmy’s bakery directly & told them that whoever is boxing the items for shipment is not putting enough tape & protection around the box ... they sent me another shipment .... bottom line is that the cakes are delicious but the shipping boxes are horrible 😢

Wow, I thought this had to be a misinterpretation of something shown on screen or perhaps an exaggeration, but you can see the mold in the cake right at the beginning of the video for the product presentation today! Poor Jimmy.
Regarding the packaging, I was very surprised that my order of cinnamon rolls and cream cheese icing was shipped in a plain box with no protective padding, let alone no dry ice or insulation. Even though a couple of rolls were squished, they were still tasty, but I was quite wary of using the icing. Technically, the rolls and cakes are shelf-stable items that will ship just fine throughout most of the year, but I wish the packing were better.
