I am alone tonight - with ALL the four legged ones however. Shades of my almost forgotten life. LOL - very very nice except this is kind of funny. Door bell rang a bit after dark - whoa, I thought, who on earth could that be? It was the young lady down the street, she came up to see the little ones and was disappointed. She is a sweetheart. She moved down the street when she was in elementary school - must be about 25 now and a doll. ON HER OWN she has gone to college and has a very good medical job. Her parents are from Mexico and they all are work horses - just lovely people. Her mother, however, has not learned English, she, her sister and DAd all are fluent. Nice people. So she visited with me and left and the door bell rang about 9:30 - WELL NO ONE COMES CALLING THAT TIME OF NIGHT!! At any rate it was a young girl - about 20 who has had some difficulties in her young life and has spent a few nights here. She was here a couple weeks ago and left some of her stuff - came to get it. I asked her is she was OK and she said yes, but not really sure - do hope so. It is now quiet again.

Was very very busy today doing a lot of necessary paperwork and running errands. Tomorrow will be going like crazy and the others should return. Davey starts to school Thursday, and have a lot of things to do that day also;.

So what did I eat for dinner? Went to a small place about a block away - they are great - they use to own a large restaurant for many years about 2 miles from here. He has opened this one very close and so I had unsweetened tea with lemon of course and a great taco salad. Talk about good!!!

I woke up freezing this morning - and about 9 or so, it was getting hot - tomorrow back into triple digits.

Been quite busy today running here and there - hopefully got some positive things accomplished - time will tell. LOL.

Needless to say I spent a lot of time on the Freeways therefore it was up to one and all to fend for themselves - yep, they are all back.

Davey starts to school tomorrow - he is starting with a very bad attitude - that bothers me.

Hope one and all are doing well - no cooking today anywhere else?

Tonight we had corned beef cooked in the slow cooker, and cole slaw. Didn't get to the roasted new potatoes.

@Laura14 Here is the recipe I promised. I did not make sandwiches, nor did I use seeds, and I used Panko bread crumbs, I am the Queen of those. I used a pork tenderloin, cut into medallions and flattened, and also sprinkled the parsley on after I removed them from the pan as I forgot to while they were cooking, it stays fresher this way.
