I would love watching him prepare an entire dish, or dishes from start to finish, while selling the items that were presented throughout the show; pots, pans, utensils, aprons, etc... Perhaps an hour long, "Cooking in the Kitchen With David".🤔😁

I was hopeful when I saw the thread's title - hopeful the ITK series would have a new host, or at least another host.  David's version of it has worn thin, with me at least.

@SandySparkles  QVC did offer the kind of cooking show you describe. It was called "Step By Step Cooking with Stacey" It lasted for a millisecond, and then it was gone. And, after a while so was Stacey. I really liked that show (and Stacey), but they aired it over dinnertime, so I guess they didn't get many viewers.

@SandySparkles  QVC did offer the kind of cooking show you describe. It was called "Step By Step Cooking with Stacey" It lasted for a millisecond, and then it was gone. It's not a teaching show on how to cook so they aren't going to waste any time on that.  And so many people don't cook without using grocery store short cuts anyway so David's cookbooks fit right in with his demos.

They do an adequate job showing how the gadgits operate although they spend too much time touching, hand hovering, and going over which colors are available.  More time spent on how to clean the item would be helpful and seldom mentioned unless it is basic.

How about ideas on how to to store the many pieces that go along with small ovens, air fryers and pressure cookers.  So many small pans and racks of varying shapes.  Nary a mention.

Right now, I'm using Fridge Binz in a lower cupboard to hold small racks and grills.

@PA Mom-mom  I think what they didn't get many of was sales. 

QVC has a Youtube channel -- ITK Half Homemade.   There are dozens of David doing half homemade recipes, all videos are less than 5 minutes long.  So even there, QVC is not taking up much time to just cook.

David is an accomplished home cook, like many of his viewers.  He often mentions the recipes he makes for guests at his home, as he entertains often. When he became the permanent host, he mentioned that he was taking cooking classes to hone his skills.  He knows what he is doing, but his job is to sell products, not to teach his viewers how to cook.  If you are looking for cooking classes, may I suggest that you tune in to the Food Network channel where you will get expert instruction.  Also, YouTube has many instructional videos that are excellent.
