Can anyone recommend a waffle iron?  Is there a difference between Belgian & regular ones?

TIA

@Magny - I highly recommend the KRUPS Belgian Waffle Maker with Removable Plates. It is a bit pricy; I paid about $55 for it three years ago and Amazon currently has it for $80 (eek—way too much), but I've had zero problems with it and it is easy to use and bakes my waffles absolutely perfectly. It is also very easy to clean and maintain. I did a lot of research before deciding on this model, and I would buy it again if I ever needed to . . . though I'd be price shopping at other retailers due to that spike in cost at Amazon!  Smiley Happy

It wasn't cheap, but I really like my Breville Smart Waffle Pro:

@aubnwa01  I couldn't agree with you more!  I didn't hesitate at the price, it has more than paid for itself!
