Can someone explain why David is always belittling and making Mark Charles look like a fool? Every time Mark Charles is on David treats him like he's not worthy to be on.

Also David is really trying to steal the show from everyone today. I feel like he thinks he's the world's best comedian. Just an observation.

@luvmybeetle. Mark Charles plays the buffoon so that how David treats him. I keep thinking, "surely they could find someone better".

They are very close friends. Its teasing not bullying. Good grief.

ITKWD is David's show, he has always tried to be "comedic" ...hence the smarty-pants comedy of Mary D who was his kitchen mentee. I guess today's "Show and Tell Christmas Headgear" is also a comedic gesture...it has reminded me of a "Show and Tell" kindergarten class.

@luvmybeetle - I typically don't mind the teasing banter between David and MarkCharles, and it seems like MarkCharles is fine with it, but it definitely can get out of hand and seem very condescending at times. And I totally agree with you about today's show—David was extra hyper and really didn't want to let anyone else speak. But the thing that continually bothers me is that he never pronounces Rosina Grosso's name correctly; it is Ro-zee-na Graw-so, not Ro-seen-a Grass-o. I sent him a message about that a few months ago, but apparently he either didn't get it or doesn't care to correct his behavior. At this stage, I'm sure it's too awkward for her to say anything to him.

ETA: And I know we all complain about this from time to time, but I really wish they'd stop showing non-kitchen-related TSVs during ITKWD. I acknowledge that a vacuum can be used in a kitchen, but do we really need to see two full presentations spanning nearly two hours of the show?

@Kachina624 As long as people eat it up and buy, they will be on. No matte how bad it gets.

David is the "big star" so I think they go along to get along

I like Mark Charles when he is allowed to be a normal mature adult, the insistence of Q to make this adult man (DV) into a child is no longer appealing to this viewer
