The word lemon made my mouth pucker. LOL!!! Love lemon. Used to eat lemons with salt when I was a kid in Hawaii. They were .01¢ each.

Doubt I could stop eating the cookies.

Re: If You Like Lemon

[ Edited ]

Mmmmm...... Lemon anything is my favorite sweet treat flavor.  Will check out Trader Joe's lemon cookies.   Two weeks ago, I bought Costco's Lemon Blueberry loaf cake.  It's made in their bakery and quite delicous!  It has a very good lemon flavor and loaded with blueberries.

@scraphappy, thank you for the info. Nothing like lemon products, especially going into spring.

My favorite lemon bars:

Crust:

2 cups and 1 tbsp flour

1 cup softened butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 tsp salt

Mix everything in bowl and press into bottom of 9x13" pan.  Bake at 350 degrees until golden, about 15 minutes.

Filling:

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/4 cup flour

4 eggs

2/3 cup lemon juice (about 5 lemons)

Whisk sugar and flour in bowl.  Whisk in eggs.  Whisk in lemon juice until smooth.  Pour into baked crust.  Put back in 350 degree oven for 24 minutes.  Let cool completely.
