2024 Fiesta color and style retirements

Fiesta just announced that it is retiring the lemongrass, mulberry, and butterscotch colors this year, along with the following pieces:

• Spoon rest
• Trivet
• Wide rim pasta bowl
• Small heart bowl
• Pedestal bowl
• Square salad, luncheon, and dinner plates

The items they still have in inventory are available online (or at any retailers that sell them), but starting now, they won't be making any more, so if you want these colors or items, it's time to stock up!

I was kind of surprised that the purple and the butterscotch colors were being retired so soon---lemongrass has been around for awhile. One of my faves is the butterscotch. Am waiting til the end of this month to order a few pieces of the sky blue.

@wagirl - I am excited for the sky blue! Lemongrass is a color I bought a lot of to go with all my cobalt in the past, but in recent years, I've switched to pairing cobalt and daffodil, so as nice as the lemongrass is, I'm fine with it being retired. But even after three years, I'm still sad about the retirement of my lovely cobalt.

I always thought the butterscotch was kind of an odd color due to its undertones (ditto with meadow); I never bought any, and that's rare for me.

@loriqvc --I have so many of the colors--I think I started my....addiction Woman Wink for fiestaware about 10 years ago.  Have some vintage and long retired colors----poppy is my fave, as is daffodil, butterscotch, and  shamrock and love the grey/foundry too. Not a huge fan of cobalt but have some pieces. Meadow is a meh for me too. Do not have the sage tho--thought that was an awful color. But have brown and black. I will only get a few pieces in the new color--not much storage where I live now.

Wanted to give this a bump.

Good things come to those that stalk sales. Extra 15% off and free ship over $39. Yep! $39!  Ends Tue. 🥰

I didn't drop much, picked up a few serving bowls.

@Snowpuppy - I took advantage of the sale as well—picked up a few more cobalt pieces before they're gone forever. Fingers crossed that there's some kind of sale when the sky blue is released...

I think that is a great sale!! Don't think I have seen such a low price for free shipping--I recently bought a few salad size plates in the retired colors. I do have the square dinner and luncheon plates.  I have all different colors in my collection. I am waiting til the end of this month for the new sky blue color to order--not sure what I will get but always buy a couple pieces in the new color for my June b-day.

Funny--I keep getting daily count downs from Fiesta Factory direct about being able to order the new Sky color. You can start ordering on the 29th. I'm not sure if it is a true order or just a pre- order. It used to be a pre order in May with delivery in June. I usually order from Macys--they have great sales-- then discounts and then if you have their cash back promo sale , that can be used too. Not sure what I will order tho---

Re: 2024 Fiesta color and style retirements

@wagirl - I've received those promo emails as well; it seems like the Sky pieces might actually be ready to order on Monday for (relatively) regular delivery since there has been no mention of "pre-order" but rather just "available" for the date, and I hope the specials/sales they're teasing will be worthwhile. I know I'll definitely be buying a few items, so it would be great to get them at a good price—and free shipping or a reduced minimum threshold for free shipping would be lovely.  Smiley Happy
