Then what's Rick going to do for his Vitamix hours at 9 and 11pm ET? Why did they schedule those shows if they don't have enough quantity?

They repeat Today's Special Value because it's not the particular show's special sale but rather the Day's special and so that others who don't watch all day long can catch it. They have contracted with the company to sell a certain amount.

I don't understand why some people do not understand this. Do you really watch QVC everyday for 24 hours of the day? I appreciate being able to catch a presentation as I work, do errands, chores, used to socialize but now i make phone calls and watch other channels.

I wonder if one of the reasons that QVC shows the TSV so often is that the percentage of shoppers who are impulsive buyers has decreased over the years. but the repetition wears down some viewers after a couple of hours and they succumb to the offering?

Years ago, I used to buy many items first time I saw something I like.  I think more than half of everything I bought within the last year I ordered only after seeing it several times.  At least 2 TSV's I ordered shortly before midnight!

@millieshops , Back when I used to watch QVC a lot more than I do now, the relentless pushing of the potstickers got me to order for the first time. Now I'm mostly a website shopper, but at one time I was as susceptible as the next shopper.

Re: ITKW VITAMIX

[ Edited ]

I did about 10 or more drive by 3 second pauses today during advertisements and each and every time........vitamix. Thought maybe they were doing a 24 hr stint on it.

Shamefully I ordered one! Woman Embarassed  I have one that is about 10 years old (husband thinks older than that) which is a 5200 that is basically this one without the presets and the pulse.  Actually this one was reconditioned from the factory and we paid I think around $400-$500 for it back then.

We use it at a minimum of four times a week, and usually more.  So why another one?

1. We both have always said if this one goes, order another immediately.  So the 7 year warranty is good and we have a backup machine.

2. We have the tall jar (which fits where we have it), and the dry grain jar and the aeration one.  So all will fit either machine base.

3.  We thought the pulse feature is something we need and will use, and it's nice that it will shut itself off.   We can walk away from it now and not lose track of time.

We got another black one.

I also have the model you mentioned....I've had mine for over 10 years. Sadly, it's kind of acting like it's ready to die, so I ordered the TSV. I use my Vitamix at least once a day....some days it gets used a lot. I really like the presentations because I do learn new recipes and tips/tricks to make it even more versatile in my kitchen. There are only certain appliances that I keep on my counter daily....my Vitamix, my Foodsaver, my Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and my Breville Smart Oven.😊
