I ALWAYS hand wash anything non-stick, to include bakeware.😊

@drizzellla : those 2 cycles are rough on dishes. We only use light. Once in a while we use normal. I use the heavy//hi-temp scrub only for the stove burner grates.
Generallt the water in all cycles is ok what you are wanting.

I have three precious Curtis Stone pans that I hand wash, to preserve the turquoise paint. I'm guessing the non-stick coating would be OK, as most of my other non-stick pans are. They include Circulon, Belgique, Technique, and Cooks Essentials. I am hard on pans, maybe I better go to hand washing for them all. But I like buying new ones, too, so maybe not. Off to check on that fabulous Costco set.

Guess that is why the design on recently purchased glasses have disappeared. But other people in the family put dishes in the dishwasher without rinsing. And I got tired of having to rewash 1/3 of the dishes by hand after I ran the dishwasher.
I have since stopped using Cascade. And I haven't had to rewash any dishes. Guess it is time to not use Heavy Duty and Hi-Temp Scrub. Thanks for setting me straight.

I have almost no trouble with messed-up baking pans or sheets because I cover them with foil every time. Very seldom even have to give them a quick hand-wash.
My habit does keep the aluminum foil industry in business because I go through more foil than the average cook, I'm sure.
The Curtis Stone set of small baking pans in a gold color is used often and covering them with foil hasn't damaged a thing. Pans still look good as new, occasionally needing only a quick hand-wash.
My life with aluminum foil got even better when I discovered Reynolds Nonstick Foil.
That foil is great for roasting or baking certain foods, such as salmon or pork tenderloin when sticky maple syrup was used as part of the seasoning. No fish or anything else needs to be pried up from the pan, while some roasted foods can stick to regular foil.

@SandySparkles Me too. How much effort does it take to hand wash a nonstick pan in hot soapy water?

You can always put a cap full of clorox in your sink water. I have dry skin so I use neoprene gloves when I wash.

I never understood the clorox in the water . Is it just a southern thing? A few Southerners I know do that.
What does the clorox do? I love clorox but not for dishes.
