I saw these on my first trip to a BB&B recently in Jax Beach, and I eat a lot of melons, and hard squashes, and just use them all of the time......AND....yes, a gadget.......but have made my life easier, for such a simple tool..........
And, less than 10.00...........They are made by OXO...........

I so agree, as I do not have a BB&B any where near me, as I purchased in JAX Beach, and that is a far way for a $10 item........but of course, I bought more than that......1st time ever in their store........

Does it really work better than a big spoon? I LOVE gadgets but had put myself on a moratorium....until I saw these...
I would love to scoop out the innards of hard squashes! That is such a pain!
Could you then use it to scoop the spag squash out once it is cooked?
TIA!

Oh soooooo YES.........I made a spaghetti squash on Sunday, and scooped out the seeds, then baked in the oven, cut, with cut sides down, and you know how hot they are, and I scooped out the entire contents of the squash, and shredded with a fork, once out of the shell, and added in simply salt, pepper, and butter, and they also worked well stirring in the butter, as what the picture does not show, is that they do have a bit, and just a slight so rounded curve to them......Just one use, and I am sold..........
I think next time I will shred with a fork and then scoop out, but there was no waste........![]()

Well dang. I see you ventured out of the forrest and were right on my front door step but you didn't stop by to see me
We could have had lots of fun talking pressure cookers and recipes. I just got the hipp pressure cooking cookbook and it is really good. Focuses on electric style instead of just stove top which so many others don't. Good to see you posting again

Well dang it man......where are you, as I am far from over with Mayo Clinic..........
Tell me what time I need to be there next time........

I bought these at TJ Maxx this summer. I've found them to be very useful. They're like a big spoon with a sharp plastic edge.

Oh about a mile from Mayo! Know where the hobby lobby is (beach blvd & san pablo)? I live in small subdivison right behind there. I drive by Mayo every weekday on my way to work. When you come for treatment are you staying at the clinic or somewhere else in Jax?
