@Yahooey Correct. I, however always was successful with the large red delicious. Some of the softer, with more sweetness like galas could occasionally be mealy.
Grapes are by location and age for sweetness.
Cherries are in the video.

My father loved mealy apples and mother and could never understand that!
I love to eat, Gala, Ambrosia, Cortland, and that other one that looks like Gala (can't remember the name now!).
To bake, Cortland any time I can get them! We even order them sometimes. I don't like Granny Smiths for anything--although I know they are a favorite!
Now what is that other yellow and red striped apple. . .

@Sooner I used to eat an apple every day at lunch when I taught.
Our younger son was crazy over Granny Smith apples.
I can't do "tart/sour" at all. I could never do pixystix~!

@ECBG I can do some sour but not a lot! Granny Smiths just taste awful to me. It's like there is something going on besides sour/tart!
When I worked I did eat an apple every day! I'd but it up on a plate and eat while I worked. EVERY day and I think it was good for me. I said this weekend now that new apples are here I'm going back to that.
We have been eating peaches, nectarines, cherries and kiwi's. Have you had those golden kiwis? Boy they are good! We put them in the VitaMix with some citrus fruit or juice a tiny splash of almond milk, whiz and put in our Zoku slushie makers! That is so good!

Sounds very interesting. Will watch when I get to my PC. This tablet is going so slow that it's driving me crazy.
