I always make the largest turkey breast I can find for Christmas and for Thanksgiving. I will also bake them a couple of more times during the year when we are wanting “turkey dinner”. I always bake in a cooking bag with a lot of herbs. I make homemade cornbread dressing and bake in muffin tins....that way everyone gets the brown crispy edges...my granddaughter calls them
“stuffin muffins” and loves them. I make green Chile soup with the leftovers.

How do you get any browning on it if you cook it in a crockpot?

We buy 4 turkeys at $.29 per pound shortly before Thanksgiving and cook one very few months throughout the year.

More often now, but just buy pieces and not the whole bird. turkey is so delicious in the air fryer---

Thanksgiving.  I can take it or leave it.  The hubs would like it if I made it more often.

We love turkey, so it appears as often as 1-2x a month.   A whole turkey is wasted here as only our dogs like the dark meat.  I stick to ground turkey, whole breasts and pieces.

Whole turkey only on Thanksgiving.  My local independent market cooks a different meat everyday so I will purchase a few slices of turkey and have a turkey sandwich for dinner during the year.

My Wegmans have a great honey brined turkey breast so I buy that occassionally throughout the year. I like fresh roasted turkey breast from the deli and i buy it whenever I see it which isn't very often here.
