What brand of food processer do you have please and how much do you use it?
I am tired of chopping vegetables and make a lot of stews pot roasts, and soups with vegetables.
I would only make one or two salad dressing type items.
Storage is not an issue. I built this house with a large walk in pantry.
Many thanks.![]()

The electric one? Hardly ever. It's a KitchenAid.
I have two large manual choppers and a bunch of gadgets for slicing and chopping - and I use at least one of them almost everyday.

Likewise, It's such a pain to take apart, clean, and put back together. It was easier to clean, I would probably use it more.

I have a Ninja blender w/ a sep food processor. I use it weekly ... but not for chopping veggies. I use the blender for mixing smoothies/shakes/sorbet and the processor I use for cutting up the fresh herbs I grow and use.
I don't mind chopping/slicing veggies and I like to cut them a certain way for different purposes....something a processor wouldn't do.
Hope you find what you want. I do think good kitchen appliances are worth their weight in gold. ![]()

Same as @Effie54 . I have one on the smaller side - 7 cups and it's a pain to take it out, use it and clean it if I'm' only chopping a few small items.

I never use my large one. I have a small one cup processor that I use more often for mincing. When my DDs were babies I used it every day to make baby food.

Just thinking about all the electric appliances I don't use .... I think I'll put them all out in the recycle area and free up some kitchen shelf space.
I did finally get rid of the toaster oven.
I have juicer, ice cream maker, one of those electric mixers you can use in pots. Etc ....etc. (My project for disposal next week!)

Tossed mine years ago. Too hard to clean.
A wonderful, well maintained knife is so much more satisfying.

I have a Kitchen Aid food processor and I NEVER use it. I cut everything up by hand.

Same as @Effie54 I do love the one I have, but it is such a pain to clean, that I only use it for shredding carrots, making cheesecake filling, and maybe a couple of other uses. Because I use it so seldom (but am glad I have it when I need it), I bought an inexpensive Hamilton Beach 14-cup Big Mouth. I got it on Amazon. It works very well. I can't see paying more for something that is stored 99% of the time.
