I love them but I only eat bananas when they still are showing a bit of green color.  I refuse to eat a completely ripened banana.   In banana pudding I will only eat them if the pudding is still warm on the day of making the treat.  Any leftover pudding I will take the bananas out.

I buy frozen fruit sometimes and a while ago I had bought  a bag of frozen bananas and we both liked them them better frozen and the bag was 11 dollars and I was thinking. Bananas are cheap too buy so now I just buy bananas peal them freeze them and slice and put them in the freezer.

@Pooky1 Maybe it is just us, but we think that you get better tasting bananas with organic ones.  We also think they go bad faster, so we freeze them when they get really ripe to make "banana Ice Milk" with in our little ice cream machine.  

Might try and let me know what you think--if the organic ones taste better to you.

My brother is recovering from a stroke. He has not had much of an appetite and is tired of the no salt/no sugar/no flavor diet they put him on when he left the hospital.  I peeled a ripe banana, froze it, then put it in my magic bullet ( I love that old thing) and it made banana ice cream (I added about a teaspoon of half&half). He absolutely loved it. My SIL wwas thrilled.
