Wonder when that new color will be available in a hand mixer ? Yes, I emailed Kitchen Aid.

I love that new hibiscus KA color, but I hate KA hand mixers.  I have two of them...both back in their origional boxes.  One is in my basement and the other one in my RV.

Their hand mixes have no power.  I use a $10 cheap hand mixer that is old, but works.

I absolutely love my KA stand mixer.  I have had it for over 40 years.  They need to improve their hand mixer by a lot.  A pretty color won't tempt me again.

I don't care for the stand mixers , so, don't want to

pay 500 just to get the Hibiscus color, but, would spend to get the pretty hand mixer.

I got 2 good quality stand mixers. SMEG & Cuisinart.

Just want to look at the KA color. LOL

@Carmie, I really love my Kitchenaid hand mixer! It has a lot of power but it also has a super slow speed so you can keep things from flying everywhere upon start up. I have had it several years now and I got rid of my other hand mixers as a result. I'm sorry you don't like yours.

@Qgirl26   I have a few KA appliances that I love.....I have many attachments for my stand mixer and a stand alone food processor...love them all.

I got a pretty blue hand mixer, 9 speeds, from Target.  It is so slow and seems like it labors when I used it.  I thought maybe it was defective, so I bought a yellow one from QVC.  It works the same way.  I was very disappointed.

What are the chances of getting two defective hand mixers?

I am happy you got a good one.  I keep plugging away with my cheap old hand mixer I got from a clearence table years ago.  It is stained and ugly, but it works well.  Of course, my KA stand mixer is the bomb.  Works beautifully.

@Carmie, that's weird but I understand your hesitation. I'm the same way with Shark vacuums. I have two and neither one of them work all that great. I'm always trying to figure out why people rave over them. So I get it.

I have two Kitchenaid stand mixers. I bought the bowl lift probably 15 years ago and I loved it so much. I swore that would be what I'd grab if there was a fire. But it started doing this weird thing where it went into superspeed out of nowhere. I probably only had it about 3 or 4 years when that happened. It happened repeatedly and I had to quit using it. I swear, it was going so fast that I thought it was going to lift up and take off!  I bought a tilt head about 7 years ago and so far, so good. Truth be told, it's not nearly as powerful as the bowl lift and I still want to get that one fixed. I have it stashed away thinking I will do that one day. But I'm praying that old fool me twice thing isn't going to come back and bite me.

My hand mixer is a 9 speed too.  I'm really sorry yours is awful.

@SharkE - I don't want to rain on your parade, but when they debuted the Beetroot color last year, they only offered it in the stand mixer, blender, and a few little kitchen tools such as peelers and a whisk. Maybe in future years, they'll offer more options for these specialty colors, but you may be waiting awhile...
