@jlkz  Thanks so much for your explanation on filling freezer bags!  Your method sounds MUCH better than mine.....I have been using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, and always end up with a mess!

I appreciate your taking the time to explain your method so clearly.  🌷

One way to fill bags w/o getting it all over the tops of the bags is to take some sort of vessel, like a pot or glass or even one of your liquid measuring cups - whatever fits the size requirment.

Push the baggie down into the vessel and, using your hand, push the bottom of the baggie out to fit inside the vessel as open as possible.  Fold the top of the baggie over the top of the vessel.

Then you can pour into it w/o touching the top of the baggie.

@deb5555 I have one of these from a different manufacturer and I LOVE it.!  I just shake my head when I see professional chefs chopping up hamburger (or other ground meat) using a rounded wooden spoon.

Easily remove apple cores with a melon baller; cut apple in half - top to bottom, & scoop out the core on each side.

Also, when making stuffed peppers, use the melon baller to remove the inner membranes.

Muddling through...
