I am so glad you posted this. I did a similar post several months ago and was told to "get over it, she was not returning" and also had my post proofed! Go figure! Seems she was attacked on this forum (what a shame) in November because of a recipe she posted. I did not see the recipe, and cannot imagine such a vicious response to anything she posted. I always enjoyed her recipes, explanations, and do also miss her postings ....along with Redman's. Hope My response does not initiate another poof! Thanks for asking after all this time she has been missing. Miss her too and I hope she sees your post and returns. Cece

She posted here about eating veal. She was not attacked, many posters here did not agree regarding the consumption of veal. Adore and Redman were outed as being the same person, perhaps embarrassed, she has not returned.

Adore and Redman were the same person? When was that exposed and how was it discovered? This is very strange.

I really liked Adore and miss her.

She certainly WAS attacked. I didn't see the thread until it had many, many responses, and they were unbelievably nasty. I was appalled just reading them and that's when I realized just how many hateful people were posting here.

She is a very nice lady and has helped me through many difficult times. I miss her as well and hope that she chooses to return, but I certainly don't blame her leaving.

This makes me sad. I remember the thread vaguely. And I admit I'm not a fan of veal and may have even answered the thread. Not sure. I know I wouldn't have been nasty towards her.

I noticed her posts because she was helping people & seemed like a caring poster.( & she wrote long posts lol.) & I think for that reason I've seen several threads wishing she was here & asking about her. If she was here a longtime I wouldn't let one bad event make me leave but that's jmho

I was put off by the veal thread. I have to admit that I was taken aback by adore's posts on that thread.

On the other hand, she has helped me with a major issue I had in my life. I am thankful for that.

On the veal thing, she and I can agree to disagree, methinks.

I hope she will come back and post again, but I can understand why she wouldn't want to.

How strange... I had been wondering about her lately and thought of starting a thread, but I am not known very well among the Recipe crowd and didn't think it was my place to ask. I thought she was a very kind and sweet spirited lady, dealing with some difficult issues. She was always kind and supportive of me and some personal things I am challenged with, and she had awesome Greek recipes. I remember the Veal thread... I saw some of it, not all... I think she was unfairly attacked. I eat Veal, so do many other people. For some it is a cultural thing, for some it is by choice... regardless... it is nobody's business what another person chooses to eat or drink, or wear, or worship... nor should they be persecuted for their beliefs. We live in a free country, and should be entitled to express ourselves as such. It is one thing to have convictions, another to attack people and try to force your views into them. I find it hard to believe she was Redman, but even if that is true, she had her reasons. It would seem more logical to me that Redman would stop posting here in support of her. Either way, I miss her, and hope she is well, whatever she is doing. Adore... if you ever happen to read this... blessings to you. Every time I have spaghetti with brown butter and myzithra I think of you.
