Adoreqvc graciously shared some recipes with me, for which I'm thankful.

However, I did find her and Redman's interactions on a public bulletin board a bit strange and off-putting...they evidently knew each other IRL...didn't they have phones, email, text in which to communicate?

Oh my! I miss her too, even tho I have not been on this forum much lately. Her detailed instructions in preparation were great. I have enjoyed making many of her recipes, i.e. the Greek lemon chicken. This is very rich. I totally missed the veal episode, which is fine. Good people seem to be disappearing from here. The Redman saga blows my mind...the same people? To each their own.

It was a pretty nasty thread. I put a lot of people on ignore over it. I can't figure out why people can't stay out of a thread if they are appalled by people's choices. I considered posting veal recipes every day after that.

I have no idea who redman is, I don't pay enough attention.

She certainly WAS attacked. I didn't see the thread until it had many, many responses, and they were unbelievably nasty. I was appalled just reading them and that's when I realized just how many hateful people were posting here.

She is a very nice lady and has helped me through many difficult times. I miss her as well and hope that she chooses to return, but I certainly don't blame her leaving.

Tique, you are correct with your posting. Adoreqvc was indeed a very nice poster, and while I did not read her recipe, and the post where she was criticized, no one who participates in a public forum deserves the type of judgment and criticism from others that is seen on this board. I will miss her informative posts, as well as the support she gave to so many.

A little arguing isn't that bad, it can even be considered a debate, but people need to let some things go. I know I've had strong opinions, but I don't feel the need to harp or dwell on them until I change the whole world's opinion.

The fact is, and you'll probably agree, that you won't change anyone's opinion anyway.

I saw the thread about veal and decided to not even open it. I knew I couldn't keep my mouth shut on that issue and also knew that it was none of my business.
