LOVE LOVE LOVE ....  I eat a lot of watermelon.  So refreshing and hydrating.

You made my day! I love, love, love watermelon and have it every day during the season. I fondly remember going to the watermelon patch with my dad to gather melons for our afternoon snack when I was a child.

Fast forward to today. The manager of our Albertson's is new. He stopped stocking watermelons after July 4. The best melons of the season are getting ready now. We have a small Lowe's Cornerstore that is our new source,

 I roast the watermelon seeds for Pops.

Watermellon is 92% water. Guess that is why it is so refreshing.

We would go out to farmer John's and help ourselves to a watermellon. Then go out to a park and enjoy. It was just innocent kid fun back then.

I quit buying bloats me out. My face looks like a

cantaloupe.

Yum just ate a big bowl. Love it. Between watermelon & peaches I can't get enough. Wish they were available year round. Now off to eat a peach. Of course both with salt that I should stop eating. Pink Himalayan salt is so good.
