Grocery shopping Thurs.

and a surprise ! Regular shopping for grocery day. I was standing in aisle looking at chicken broth. A woman that works for United Supermarket approached me she worked in the floral dept. She comes up to me with a big ol' bouquet that contained roses, white flowers, greenery , few other flowers that I'm not familiar with. Wrapped up with a ribbon and covered in plastic handed them to me !

She explained I looked like a nice lady and she wanted to thank me for being a United customer and handed me the rose bouquet. I go "what's the catch"? she laughed and said "no catch just our way of giving back to our customers". I said "oh , Ok". Then, she said these are getting old and we got new shipment coming in and we hate to throw out maybe you can enjoy for a few days.

I told her well my b'day is Sun. so yeah I will enjoy them. LOL She hugged me and walked away. Never know do you !

What a nice surprise! I love fresh flowers but I'm too cheap tp buy them. Happy Birthday!

Yeah, wanted to scare hubbo LOL he comes home I point to flowers in vase and say "why thank you" . He has this expression on his face like deer caught in headlights and I started laughing. Explained to him that I didn't pay for them either. Probably at least 25 bucks these days.

Tis the season. This morning dear dil went through Starbucks drive thru and wanted to pay for the car behind her. She was surprised with the bill, it was so small. The girl laughed and said she was the 20th person in line to do so, so the person in front had paid for hers and she only had to pay for the car behind her.

what a nice gesture on the part of the store! I'm lucky lately now that our local Publix has hired so many young people they take your money because they are not the friendliest or they constantly are chatting with friends.

But, funniest is what you did to hubby!
