Good Morning! I bought a piece of London Broil yesterday. It's a little under 2 pounds. Does anyone have a good marinade I could use. Thank you!

I have been doing this for chicken, brush with olive oil, and strinkle on both Mrs Dash sundried tomato/garlic and Penzys 4S

@DbinMD  We like to keep our marinades simple.  Hubby doesn't like overpowering the taste of the meat.  A staple I have used for many years.......

olive oil  (just some poured over the meat)

sprinkle with sea salt and pepper and Herb De Provence.

The Best !!!

I leave it in the frig for 24 hours  then I take it out to allow the oil to get back to room temperature before cooking (about an hour or so).

This is my favorite marinade for beef and pork:

1/2 cup tomato juice

1/2 cup oil

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 cloves of garlic minced

1 tsp. Ground pepper

(mix all and pour over meat)

I sometimes cut the recipe in half when I only have (for example) a couple pork chops to marinate.

@DbinMD My dad made the most delicious London broil

He'd rub it with garlic and grill with a little Worcestershire sauce and grill to medium rare.

Five minutes before it came off of the grill, he'd brush with honey on both sides and grill each side just a second.  Slicing straight across, on thin slices, it was more delicious than steak!!!
