NO! STOP! I tried this because I'm single. Well, first of all they charged me full price on the first order when they sent me a postcard for 50% off, then they say they will email or text you a reminder so you can decide to change your selections, or to waive the delivery for the coming week, (never received any notice), and when I tried to log back in to contact someone I received a "surprise" package I did NOT want, the website was "having technical difficulties." I finally got a hold of them and they never addresses my statement about NOT receiving my reminder notification. When I asked what they wanted me to do with package I didn't order, again the representative ignored my question and never answered my question but were quick to charge my credit card. They finally agreed to cancel my membership but I still received another package the following week. BUYER BEWARE!

My daughter in Denver just ordered from another place.  She's waiting for her order next week.  It's not the same one as you had.  She has friends who've used the one she ordered from with really good results.

If she likes it, I might try it.  She just texted me.  Theirs is called GoFresh.  Really good results from friends.

I never heard of that one but I don't like the idea of those meal plans.  I don't trust that they are what they say they are.  It's just hubby and me and I work at home so we go out to eat 3 or 4 nights for dinner.  Our local grocery store has it's own version of those boxed dinners but we don't have to commit to anything or sign up for anything.  The grocery store delivers and has online ordering so if I want to cook, I order one of those meals.  I do like that all the ingredients and spices and the menu and instructions are in the box.  So, I like the concept.  I just don't like having to commit to company I know nothing about.

I have used Hello, Fresh (I think) nand it has been great. I did end up cancelling it because it was just too much food for 1 person. I would end up freezing half of the meals (you had to order 2 meals for 2 as a minimum) and then the next month came. The food was always fresh and the recipes were easy to follow. If I had to cook for more, I would definitely get back on their list. So, not all of these have bad service.
