I noticed so many of his items are on clearance. Wonder if he's going the same way as Louis.

Geoffrey is really putting his name on anything he can. He merchandise is over priced so he had to lower it down. I like him on The Kitchen but he is just selling too much stuff with his name on QVC. Pioneer Woman is now Walmart so she can't be on QVC and see her stuff is on sale too at Walmart.

@coffee drinker - During a recent kitchen show with a clearance presentation of a GZ gadget, they noted that there were clearance prices on some of his offerings because stock was low and they weren't reordering those particular items. Since he's a fairly new addition to the kitchen category on the Q and David Venable seems to really enjoy him, I'm guessing he'll be around for at least a little while longer.

$38 plus shipping for a Digital Cooking thermometer when I can find one on Amazon for $10 ? I did enjoy his coffee but everthing seems to be overpriced.

@Reever The best ones I have ever used are from Thermoworks bought directly from that and the round instant read ones are fantastic! I think they call them "Pop" thermometers because they look like a sucker sort of and come in a lot of colors.

I purchased his cast iron pans in every size when they were first introduced. They worked great....at first. Now, everything, and I mean everything sticks...especially in the center. It seems as though where his logo is stamped on the bottom of the pan causes a defect, because that's the very spot where the nonstick fails. No amount of oil or butter helps....so, maybe the poor quality is a factor in the high number of clearance items.

It looks like he needs help with marketing choices. His electric frypan looks nice but has had a lot of negative reviews and he relies too much on limited products. It must be a difficult market to succeed in unless you were in earlier. Now there's too much copy catting.
