I use an industrial supplies company: McMaster-Carr. The quality is superb. The customer service just as good. Plus the pricing is excellent. The website is the name dot com.

I realize this was a very very old thread and that the OP is probably no lognger in the market, but if anyone IS, Chef's Catalog is going out of business and their merchandise is up to 90% off right now...

Mine is called an Imprint mat.  They're on sale right now on their website.  I looked at GelPro mats for a long time and finally decided on the Imprint mat.  They were less expensive than GelPro, and I've had mine for probably eight years now.  Mine has lasted much longer than my friend's GelPro.  It's nice and thick and very comfortable.  One reason that I chose this one is because they came in a longer size.  It was the only one I could find that seemed comparable to GelPro in quality.  They're on sale right now.

Bed and Bath still has them. Worth the money. I'm the only one left in the world who stands and irons from an hr to an hr and a half and it's nice to stand on off the cold tile floors.

The health of my feet and knees are worth money to me.

Several years ago, I got an extra-thick yoga mat at Target for $30 to put in front of the sink.  It's about 6' long, 2' wide. I love it and it still looks brand new.

I have four of these mats and love them. They do make a difference. I purchased mine from QVC years ago but I've seen the same ones at Bed& Bath. They are pricey but they work and last. I have dogs and they are still in good shape. It takes a lot to damage one of these and they were put to the test in my kitchen with my family. So much nicer on your feet, legs and knees when prepping dinner and holiday meals.
