Foodsaver Rolls

[ Edited ]

Deal of the week is for 4 boxes of 11" x 16' Rolls with 3 rolls per box for $39.99. Total of 12 rolls.

They are regular $28.99 for 1 box of 3 rolls.

I bought 8 boxes for about $80.

Comes out to $3.33 per roll. They are almost $6 per roll at Wal-Mart.

On sale at the Foodsaver website.

Edited my post since it's Deal of the Week not Deal of the Day.

Re: Foodsaver Rolls

I probably have a lifetime supply of vac-seal bags/rolls, but that sounds like a good deal.

I'm really bummed that they got away from the 6" rolls.    I use all three (6, 8, & 11"), but I use the 6" as much as any.   I think Weston brand still has them sometimes but you have to watch for the 5ml, as they are substituting the 3ml more and more.  Smiley Sad

ETA - Thank You so much for the heads up!  Smiley Happy

@chickenbutt

We use a lot of them. I can't remember how long it's been since I bought the same amout from them when they had them on sale.

I see the Weston plus a lot more on Amazon now. They have a lot of those Sous Vide bags.

We use more of the 11". I have a couple of the smaller 8" rolls. I will keep watching their site to see if they do a sale for the 8" like the 11" to stock so I can stock up.

Oops, I just saw that I mis-spoke.

If you ordered from Foodsaver I received a tracking number that I did not know what it was for from Informed Delivery thru the Post Office. Well I received a letter with coupons plus the free bag opener in the mail today. I did not receive the rolls I bought.

I did not know if the mailman delivered those to the wrong house or if there would be another tracking number for the rolls.

I called Foodsaver CS to ask about it. She gave me a Fed Ex Smartpost tracking number for the rolls which will be here Tues.

So just in case you receive a tracking number & don't know what's it for or you receive your free bag cutter & wonder where your order is that's how my order was shipped out???

I thought it was strange because Foodsaver never emailed me a copy of my order.

I thought when I received the envelope with the tracking # on it the mailman must have left my rolls at the wrong house.

I think you have to order over $75 to get the free bag cutter so if you ordered less this will not pertain to you.

Is the bag-cutter a little plastic thing that says 'Foodsaver' on it, with a blade, and it looks kind of like a letter opener?

They sent me a couple of those in the way past and, I'll tell ya, I use them all the time - mostly for other stuff but sometimes for bags because my LEM vac-sealer doesn't have a bag-cutter on it.

Very handy!  Smiley Happy
