I'm totally confused. I did a search, and the first hit said 480 cals; second said 580 cals; third said 480 again and finally I found the 1420 one. How's anyone supposed to make any sense out of that??

Carolina classic is a 1/4lb burger with chili ,onions,mustard,and slaw.It has 480 calories,23g of fat.Let me tell us,it is 23delicious grams of fat...lol.Of course nobody SHOULD eat one every day...lol. but,if you account for at least 200 calories for the bun,it's not so bad. I never eat bread so if u was to order it I would eat the inside stuff . That's,a tasty 280 calories with about 24 g of protein.( Actually I could only eat half.140 calories...thanks to WLS).

Funny story about this sandwich. My husband and I were in Atlanta, GA and stopped by Wendy's. We ordered the Carolina Classic and the cashier told us that they didn't have it. I told her yes they did and proceeded to tell her what was on the sandwich. She asked another employee and was told that they did not have such a sandwich. We ended up ordering somethig else. Once we sat down, it dawned on me that it was the "Carolina" classic and we weren't in North Carolina anymore. We have laughed about that ever since.

How funny..LOL! How sad if the rest of America can't enjoy such a tasty burger. I thought it would be everywhere but simply called Carolina Classic since it was a Carolina style burger.
