I guess the upcoming 48 hour Temptations weekend wouldn't be for you then.

When would this be? They could never do a whole weekend, they don't have that much product.

David is a QVC employee, i.e. a sales rep for QVC, An employee of QVC selling Their selection of products.

Temptations is a "house brand" of QVC. It is the same as a "house brand" of CVS, Walmart etc.. (Do you have xxx cough medicine?  No, we have House Brand xxx which is cheaper but more peofitable to us.

It is their (QVC) choice to sell their own brand and not others. They earn more money (profits) from their own brand and not a competitors.They (QVC) may have exclusive contracts with other suppliers, i.e. WEN, Philosophy etc. to solely sell their products at a very profitable exclusive arrangement without telling fheir customers (Us).

All in all, it's not complicated. David and Carolyn, Jane, Mary Beth etc. sell what QVC tells them to do,

It is our choice to say ---- Yes or No.

I agree - way too much of Tara and Temptations.  Give me Fiesta any day.  I immediately change the channel when she is on.

i dont think that means straight 48 hours. i believe since the TSV  is coming up during that time they will be featuring temptations quite a lot that weekend.

I agree with everybody about that awful line of cheaply-made and profoundly unattractive stoneware line.

I have been kind of going back and forth between tuners with QVC on one of them and it seemed like every time I went to that one it was more of that stuff.

I guess there's something for everyone and I imagine that somebody thinks something I have is also hideous.  But - just wow that they keep selling it.  So, hey, if it sells then I cannot begrudge them selling it.  I put my money toward products that are attractive and durable.

Yes, Chickenbutt- I agree with you. I put my money in all of the Lidia Bastianich bakeware I could get my hands on. Excellent quality. Just Excellent.

@rosehill

I have bought an insane amount of Temp-tations, and while the quality is pretty much what you pay for, I enjoy it till it fails, and then throw it out and move on. It isn't any worse than some other made in China cheap lines I've tried.

But that Lidia Bastianich stuff, now that is something else.

I only bought one set before they discontinued it on Q. I was lucky enough to find it again when a bunch of it came up 'as is' later, and bought most every set I could find in three colors. I LOVE that stuff. And I'll never figure out how they didn't continue with it. The only thing I can figure is that they got a good deal on it as a kind of one time buy, and found it couldn't be manufactured at that great low price again, so moved on.

It is nice and heavy, nearly perfect painting, and a great glaze that cleans up way better than my TT. It feels so good in the hand, nice and substantial.

I think it hopeless to request the bring it back and expand the line, because it most certainly would be cheapened and not be that same great stuff we already have.
