@CLEM wrote:@momtochloe, @MKR14 I did find a website that seems to have just about every size baking dish and other good stuff in different sizes. It is called Webstaurantstore dot com. Can get one item and not have to buy a whole set that's not needed.
Will report later how the air fryer works.
@CLEM thank you for that website, wow is that a lot of fun! I really like some of their smaller cast iron pieces that would fit in my toaster oven which would be great to have.
Good luck on your cooking today my friend! ![]()

The Cornish game hen I made was delicious. I used the recipe Emeril has on one of his recipe cards. Anyone can download his recipes on his air fryer TSV. I will have a nice chicken sandwich with it for supper. I am frying some spiral zucchini on the stove right now with butter, garlic and a little olive oil. They are yummy. I decided to make my cauliflower at supper instead. You can go under any air fryer that has recipes and download them. I download mine on my iPad and can set it in the kitchen and choose what I want to make. Can't wait to hear you did well with yours.
. These are the chicken wings I made today and the plate has zucchini I made and a few wings.

I cannot believe how much I love my Emeril fryer my mom sent me as an early Christmas present! I was skeptical but omg...love this machine and so does DH! I just ordered this from QVC to enhance my all ready awesome cooking experience!

@BornToShop I am so glad you are enjoying your Emeril fryer. What color did you get and what kind of food are you making. You sure have a nice mom.
@MKR14 @momtochloe Here is my adventure into actually making something in my air fryer. First I roasted a lot of cowliflower, but it came out burned and not done. So I guess that means I set the temperature too high and too short a cooking time. Then the wings. I think cooked them about 2 minutes too long, but they were the best tasting chicken wings I ever had nonetheless. And cleanup was a breeze.
Now, the problem is that the machine is very heavy which I knew, but an aweful lot of weight is in the tray. Made the food at lunch time, but my wrist is still a bit sore. Have arthritis so, I am afraid, I will be returning this fryer It will be picked up on Monday. I am sure you all think I am a bit coocoo because this, but I am normally not like this. This will be number 4 to get returned.
Read the specs for Ming's fryer and noticed that (if the numbers are correct), it is a bit smaller and a few pounds lighter. Ordered it for $30.00 more than it was yesterday, but still no shipping. Also, enough people have cancelled so I was able to get one in white.

@BornToShop You will love this EVO for olive oil etc. I have used mine the last few days and it is so flawless when spraying. There is a fine mist wide spray and a shorter spray and a place to turn it off in case you drop it. I got mine at QVC also. I was expecting a smaller bottle and didn't realize how much it holds.

Oh @CLEM I am so sorry you have to send your fryer back but I am glad you enjoyed the wings . . . hopefully the Ming Tsai version will be the perfect one for you! Please know RA runs in my family so I know how tough arthritis can be on a day to day basis . . . be well my friend . . . ![]()

@CLEM I made the cauliflower at supper and I sprayed the olive oil on it. It took longer to cook than I thought. It was ok but the next time I would put the cauliflower pieces in a ziplock quart bag and put a tsp of olive oil in it and shake them in it. I think they would have been more moist. I rather have a few more calories than less taste. I think I will make my cauliflower cheese casserole with it. Yeah for your chicken wings! You got something good out of it. I have a silicone pot holder that I sit in front of the air fryer to set the pan on. You don't have to move it much to take the basket out of it. The basket can get pretty heavy with some of the food you cook. I broke my right wrist many years ago and that is the hand taking the basket out of so I know how you feel. I watched all the presentation on Ming's and if I hadn't been happy with Emeril's I would have bought his. You aren't any more coocoo than me. If I am not happy I return things. Mostly clothing here at QVC as the sizes are off. Or could that be my body isn't what it used to be? Ha! You have learned what an air fryer can do, using the proper time needed, and having a chat with all of us. We all just want the best for you so you can enjoy some easy and delicious food! I think Ming has a good chart on temperatures and time. If you keep Ming's get Meredith's air fryer book as it is awesome explaining things about temperatures and time. Hope you get a new addition soon in your kitchen and have the white one you wanted too. ![]()

@MKR14 that is an excellent tip to have a trivet next to your air fryer (I'm sorry I didn't mention it before). I have a Le Creuset trivet that has taken up permanent residence on my countertop and the air fryer is right next to it so (apparently without thinking) I automatically place the basket on it. Sometimes I just shake the basket but for some things I like to stir or rearrange things in there so the trivet is a great idea.

@CLEM, she sent me the red which I love! My mom is 85 years young & solely responsible for my QVC shopping the past 20 years! I discovered Crispy Dill Pickles (Frickles; breaded dill pickle slices) by FarmRich in my local Winn Dixie's frozen area. They are fantastic in the air fryer! This machine is a lot of fun because the minimal cleanup makes it do!
