I have one and like it a lot. However, I used it for a couple of months and then put it away. It just was easier to hard boil a dozen eggs at a time on top of the stove.

This happens to me with too many things.

It's so hard to know who to trust these days I watched 4 or 5 videos on "how to". They said the discoloration at the bottom could be minerals in the water or from the eggs if they are darker in color.

Thanks @Net52 I just ordered it I thought it was a 6 egg cooker but it's actually, as you know, 7 eggs.

@monicakm - You would have to pull my Dash egg cooker away from me!

I love mine in red, and bought it when Amazon had a special price.

We love deviled eggs, and DH likes to have hard boiled available. This is so easy to use. Just a little water in the bottom, ****** a hole in the bottom of each egg, plug it in, and wait until it sings to me. After a time in an ice water bath, they are so easy to peel!

Mine is simple. It makes 6 hard boiled eggs at a time. I can also make soft boiled, but that's it - no fancy accessories. It's all I need.

DH cooks eggs nearly every morning. I prefer my protein bar. I'm not a morning person and eating breakfast isn't on my list things I want to do. My morning cold brew is what I look forward to.
