@eddyandme I share with my furbaby too.  She loves vegetables; likes them raw too.

My boy will eat most raw except brussel sprouts and zucchini/summer squash; can't figure how these furbabies can eat plain lettuce and love it - duh!  It's fun spoiling them, isn't @Daysdee!

I am debating on getting an air fryer but do not need a large one. Today at Walmart I saw a programmable one made by Farberware for $69. I am going to consider that one as if I dont like it I can return it to the store which is only a couple miles from me. I just keep hesitating but would like to be able to roast my veggies without the oven and could use if for other things also. I always procrastinate.

Just got my air fryer!  It's huge - think little over 14" H, but still fits under counter.  I got the slate and think it's beautiful!

Gotta clean it first, then will give it a test drive, probably tomorrow.  Nice recipes were included so will probably try one in the booklet.  What I question, noticed when perusing instructions, using a dedicated line was recommended:  that ain't gonna happen!

@SharkE, your recommending a large-size, 5.5 vs 3.5, was spot on!  Spotted a recipe for roasting a 5lb chicken!  Think a blooming onion, also in booklet, may be in my near future, too!

WOW!  Been bad!  Got an IP and AF this week!!!!  No more ordering for me!Woman Wink  I'll be busy cooking anyways!

@eddyandme: Enjoy your AF. I really want one but need to wait. The one I ordered for a Christmas gift already delivered. I decided not to open it and already gift wrapped. I have a pressure cooker but would like the instant pot. My Walmart had the red instant pot 6 in 1 for $79.Southern Bee

I use my air fryer so much more than I thought I would before I bought one.  (thought it was something I would never buy!)  Made a small casserole in an oven-safe lock n lock dish and baked it in the air fryer.  Was done quickly.  Also warmed up the leftovers of it in the air fryer.  No clean up except the dish which went in dishwasher.  Had lunch out and will warm the leftover sandwich in the air fryer.  (works better than microwave for sandwiches)   I have 3.5 quart which is big enough for me, but for a family of 3 or  4+ a larger one would be better.

@SouthernBee

I got my IP from QVC.  It was the tsv and was waitlisted for 24th of this month but they sent them out earlier.  It was apx 80, 9-1.  May sound strange but my main reason for purchasing this was the yogurt buttonWoman LOL!  Realize yogurt's often on sale, but I like #age (mods will delete if I put the f in, even though it's a brand name!) and somehow never goes on sale.  So for almost 8 a pop, this IP will soon pay for itselt, I figure!

By the way ,agree the cinnamon a/k/a red, is pretty!

WOW! someone's getting a really nice Christmas gift, which I'm sure will be plenty used and enjoyed!

I just purchased this TSV Power Elite 5.5 qt air fryer, and so far it’s fantastic! My only rumble is about the included cake pan.  It’s so small.  It’s the same size as the cake pan included with the much smaller Power XL air fryer that was 3.6 qt.  The cake pan is perfect for that smaller size air fryer, but it just swims around in this bigger version. Seems silly.

@eddyandme:Thanks for the info. Special church friend that moved to another state. DH and I have health issues but she still stays in contact with us and always sending us cards and visits when she is in town. I will be cooking a special Thanksgiving meal for her and her family and decided to have their Christmas gifts ready and wrapped for them to take home. Please share more info when you use the AF and Instant pot. Southern Bee
