Love your picture of the cat.  When I was young I used to run.  Now I'm lucky I can still walk.  I broke my back in 3 places when I was 18 and he healed and no problem.  Then in 2003 it started hurting and it's only gotten worse.

Anyway, no I no longer run.  My late husband was really, really into exercise.  He always over did it.  He was 58 when he just dropped dead in front of me.  He worked out so much he had the stomach muscles lined up (like you see in young guys.  He was amazing looking.

He had some trouble with his knees.  I remember an orthopedic surgeon told him he needed to slow down.  He said, "People are only given so much cartridge....if they run all of the time....it's going to wear out..."

My youngest daughter is a runner.  She has run in places for charity all over the US.  She's training (after she gets back from a 2 week trip across the US from Colorado) to run again this year in Las Vegas.

She broke her knee in 2 places skiing in Vale this year.  The surgeon who fixed it is the surgeon for the US Olympic Ski Team.  Needless to say he did an amazing job.  In a few weeks she's going back to him and he's taking out the screws and pins.  She's still hoping she can run in the race.

I always say --- if I get injured, it's because I fell off the couch. I'm almost 78 yrs old and no aches or pains. Woman Happy

I don't know if this counts, but I have been paying for membership in the fitness center for years; never forget to do  this.   Now, if I could just remember to actually go.

@flbettyboop  Love that kitty!

I walk and do strength training exercises.... but, not religiously... and not like a fanatic.

If I miss a few days... so be it....  the older I get the less regimented I am and I give myself more slack.
