No I have never washed any of mine.

I just ordered 8 boxes of the larger rolls.

Foodsaver had them 4 boxes for $39.99 for each set. I bought 2 sets for a total of 24 rolls at about $3.33 per roll.

Right now Foodsaver has buy 3 get 3 on their rolls, bags or containers.

My MIL probably washes hers out since she also keeps those Styrofoam plates your meat comes in from the grocery store. No way you can wash out the bacteria from those.

IMO she does not use safe cleaning cooking options.

Never have and never will.  Probably because that was something my mother did.  She took it to the nth degree and it made me crazy.

No! too much bacteria floating around in them.

If it's something like bacon or something greasy, I don't reuse.  Otherwise, I reuse storage bags.

Not usually.

When I take corn on the cob out of the freezer, I hold onto the ziplock bag to put the corncobs in it, along with any scraps off our supper plates, before tossing in the trash.   I do repurpose bags this way to eliminate smelly and leaky trash bags.

As others have said, I reuse them if they are still fairly clean.  I also reuse bread bags, bagel bags, etc. It helps save the environment and saves money, so why not?

It depends what was in them.  As others have said, if it contained something wet or greasy I usually toss it.  If it had bread, muffins, or something that just really makes crumbs, I will wash and re-use.

I do it for the environment.

I try to use very few plastic bags in the first place.  My preference is to store things in glass containers, but that is not always possible.
