@sunshine45

4 years ago I bought this same oval cast iron brand from HSN.  it was a Todays Only offering - I jumped on it because it was 6qt.

Its still in perfect condition & cooks wonderfully! I see no difference in my LeCruset and other "knock offs" on the market.

The frontigac brand is made by JC Henkels company so you know it's quality as they are well known for their knives.

Best $79 I've spent!

Im editing because I forgot this: When it came it had a small chip in lid - I called JC Henkels CS they were awesome!  Not only did they send me replacement they gave me $50 gc to use in their online store for my inconvenience! Now that's great CS🙂🙂🙂🙂

Yes I have several that were made in France and they are equal to Le Creuset.   The ones on HSN are made in China.  Quality is no longer there.  I would not buy it.

Re: fontignac brand of enameled cast iron

I own several pieces that I purchased from HSN about 2 years ago...got a great deal (clearance) and I think they are just as good as Staub or LeCreuset...There were some reviews about chipping but I did not experience this...both pieces are really heavy and they cook very well!

I'm sure for the price HSN has those 2 pieces you will get your money's worth out of them. They look like nice heavy duty cookware with the waved lid to put the condensation back in the pot.

Re: fontignac brand of enameled cast iron

only two pieces left, but they are in my "colors".....RED.......and the price is good enough to take the chance.

thanks for all of the input!
