I have Molly Maids come to my mom and dad's apartment once a month. They are there for one hour and it costs $85. They don't do laundry of any kind, windows, fridge… nothing like that. All they do is clean bathrooms, kitchen dust, vacuum and mop her tiny little kitchen. I do insist that mom strips the beds before they come so the ladies can put the clean sheets on. It's worth it for me, because there is no way I can keep up with cleaning two homes.

No, I have it cleaned every two weeks but I might have to cancel if I don't stop buying so many beauty products! Seriously though, I have one of those big rambling old houses with 4 bathrooms and a bad back. It's hard enough maintaining it enough for them to clean. It forces us to keep it straightened and organized. My DH does the mopping and vacuuming in between, I do the kitchen and bathrooms.

Yes. Both DH and I have full-time jobs, but we still clean our house. I do most of it, but DH will vacuum and dust. He took a couple days of vacation last week and steam-cleaned our furniture in the living room, the living room carpet, and the bathrooms and kitchen floors.
I can't see paying somebody to do what I can do myself.

Absolutely not! I wouldn't be comfortable with anyone else in my house! No one can clean it as good as me. I used to clean my moms condo periodically for her but I did it because she was elderly. I never thought able-bodied people had their houses cleaned. Never heard of it.

I am also a working lady, getting up at 5:30 am, at work all day, hour and 15 minutes to get home...I'm been thinking about it for a while.
I want to get someone to come in even if it is a once a season type thing. I'm looking into it and watching for specials. I also heard of a company were you call for just a certain job like, mop the floors of the entire house for X price. I do 80% of my cleaning but it would surely help to have either a once a month cleaning for bigger items.

I do my own cleaning and always have but probably not as great as I use to. I get busy and work full time and watch grand daughter after work. I hired the lawn done but this summer I decided to do it myself again.
I enjoy mowing and it gets me out to do more yard work which I was kind of neglecting. I work outside and my grand daughter plays and has fun so it works. She plays on the deck while I mow and then plays in the yard when I do the flowers and things. She has a wagon and sand box and other things. We walk the dog and go to the park to play. It has been a busy summer so far but fun too.
It keeps me busy and I like being busy and it keeps me from shopping so much for clothes.
After my second cup of coffee this morning I am going to get at it and listen to AM Style while I clean. I like doing that and it keeps me moving.
I am pretty organized and do a little something every day to make it easier on the weekends. No baby sitting on the weekends so that helps.
I wouldn't mind having someone come in the spring and fall to help me but eventually I get it done. Just did all the blinds and windows when I was off for a few days. Just have to work around it is all.

I do my own cleaning, but not nearly as often or thorough as I once die. I always keep it picked up, so it always looks neat, at least.
