If they are offered side by side on a buffet, and both are very high quality, I always feel I should choose the turkey because it is healthier (usually less fat and calories) but WANT the ham (especially if it has a bit of glaze on it)!

There is nothing better than a turkey sandwich on white bread with Best Foods mayo! That is the best part of the holiday. There is a small cafe across the lake from Seattle called Gobble that specializes in turkey meals - from a full blown turkey dinner to a turkey BLT every day.
Also the Honey Baked Ham store makes great sandwiches. I also occasionally buy some slices to bring home.

I'm with you re: the turkey on white bread with Best Foods Mayo. Enjoy it more than the turkey dinner. I like to buy a large slice of ham to make fried ham sandwiches on toasted bread (or a roll) with a little butter.

This question has absolutely nothing to do with preferences.
On Thanksgiving, you eat turkey.
On Christmas, you eat roast beef.
On Easter, you eat ham.
Those are the rules.
If you don’t like it, you eat at the diner.

@Citrine1Love to start out with Pepperidge Farm Herb stuffing. Did it out of cornbread and they said it was too "mushy"!
What do you use?
@ECBG I use plain white bread (even the store brand will do for this). Cut off the crusts and cut it into cubes.

I prefer the honey baked ham kind.
