Many years ago an infomercial aired for Greenpans and it was hosted by a regular presenter often currently seen on QVC. The chef (I really don't know if he was an actual chef or not) was a younger English/Australian gent who came into the studio on a skateboard. Anyway, that's when I first became aware of the brand. The tolerance for high heat was enticing as I could have tossed it on the grill rather than just the stove. I bought them at Target and while they seemed sturdy and manageable, the non stick lost its ability shortly after purchase. Now that was 12 years ago or more so perhaps the the pans work better now?

For me, they have outlasted other non stick pans.  I never put any nonstick on high heat and never in the dishwasher.  Another brand which has given good service is TFal, which is not seen as much and is relatively inexpensive.  I do believe that all nonstick will one day start sticking.

I use green pans and love them. They have lasted a long time for us. Care for properly and use only medium heat.
