While I do appreciate the warning, I don't plan to change what I've been doing.  Been in the same house for almost 50 years (!) and using Cascade Complete for many of those years with absolutely no problems.  My dishwasher is a Kenmore Elite, which has a lot of years on it. 

 

Years ago drinking glasses were coming out of the dishwasher cloudy.  After trying several other remedies, I switched to Cascade complete pods from the gels and powders I had been using before.  Ever since then, the glasses all glisten.  I don't use any "rinse aids" because I don't want chemicals deposited on the dishes at the end of the cycle. My motto is if it aint' broke, don't fix it.
