There are several light blue pieces available on ebay.

Orange floral lace was my color. I've switched to the new harvest. It goes together.  I didn't care for the old harvest, but there was tons sold.

I don't think I have enough pieces to warrant a collection, but I do have two or three in the light blue and I love them.  If I buy more, I'll be happy to change it up.  Last night I couldn't resist the whimsical mugs.  They come in gift boxes, but I think I'll keep them for myself.  I have a grandchild now, and I look forward to starting traditions that will delight her year after year.

I use Fiesta. They, and every other company, change colors, discontinue colors, etc etc.  That's the way it is.

Go to replacements.com and see if they carry your color.

Maybe your color choice was not a top seller.

Companies will change or retire colors/items depending on sales, the bottom line will determine what continues.

Right,  unfortunately they can't cost-justify making a color if sales are low.  I'm sure they would have kept it if products were selling.

Check it out on Ebay, usually they have many options, but they will disappear as people realize it no longer being offered.
