I got a grocery delivery yesterday that included a pint of Cafe Mocha Chip ice cream and yes I finished it off this evening.   Now there is nothing sweet but I will have Licorice Allsorts when the Amazon order arrives.

No because I still had candy from Christmas & Valentines Day🙄. Lindor truffles, m&m, mini candy bars.

I put them in a lock n lock while cleaning my pantry I was "yeah"!  Neither of us are big candy eaters but I do love Reese's pb cups.

We prefer fresh baked things and I've been doing lots of baking/cooking.

Our Community Manager and staff have been working non-stop inc. weekends during this virus outbreak.  I decided to make them a treat.  Double chocolate fudge brownies with walnuts frosted with chocolate ganache.

Only did 3/4 with Easter sprinkles cuz spouse loves these but not the sprinkles!  I made 3 trays - Once cooled I'll package them nicely and drop off tomorrow.

@homedecor1 Looks yummy!  May I please have one without the sprinkles?Smiley Happy

With a week that has included earthquakes and snow on top of everything else going on around the planet, I decided this was the perfect time to finally give in and order the Delizioso Desserts 3.25-lb Limoncello Cake (M54623) as a way to brighten things up. It's scheduled for delivery tomorrow, and I can't wait!

@ECBG

sure can!  You can even have 2 if you want!

Tomorrow is another baking day.  Although, my closest friend is in "self isolation" she is 87 tomorrow.  I'm baking her favorite french vanilla cake with lemon curd filling,  american buttercream  icing covered with coconut with a cherry on top!,.

I'm only doing small 6" cake. She will be surprised!!!

I am about to relate a very sad story...

Bought a Marie Callender Chocolate Satin pie from the freezer section, figuring it would last through the week for the two of us.  Now, I'm ashamed to admit how many times I've enjoyed this pie other than a LOT.

Ate a piece last week and it tasted "off": not spoiled, but chocolate was not light and fluffy and crumb crust tasted like chocolate sawdust.  Figured maybe it was me.

DH cut a piece and said "What's the deal?  This tastes like caca!" (paraphrasing). 3/4 of the pie was disposed of.

Wonder if it had thawed and been refrozen or what??  Only sweets now are Cheerios.  Woman Sad

Two boxes of funny bones, 4 big toffee bars, 1 bag cadburry milk chocolate eggs,  1 bottle chocolate syrup.  1 jar nutella.  the Funny bones and the candy are in the freezer. the chocolate syrup is in the fridge.  when the candy proper runs out chocolate syrup on bread is a good treat.  Bread spread with butter and sprinkled with sugar is a good sweet treat too.   Thanks for that one Grammy!

I make my own.

Yesterday I made a simple 1 layer yellow cake in one of my small bundt pans, covered in glaze.

Today I'm going to make bread in my Oster bread machine.

Not really a sweet treat, but a treat nonetheless.

I think this lockdown is messing with my brain. I love Reeses PB Eggs.  When I ventured out the other day I walked right by them on the way to check out.

What was in my cart?  Individual jello cups with fruit. I'm not even a fan of jello but I saw them and in they went.

DD took them out of the bag and gave me a "do you feel okay look?"  No idea why they looked good.

Now unusual cravings can mean pregnancy, but my lone ovary is a fossil so not that.
