Hello everyone, I have a problem someone left my deep freezer door cracked for how long I'm not sure. I do know frozen vegetables are soft and so is very small amounts of ground beef like 1/2 lb packages. I also have thaw and eat desserts in there as well. I have QVC Croissants in there as well. I'm considering throwing out most of it. What would you do?

I would toss it out, unfortunately.....hate to throw out food but better to do that than risk anyone getting sick.

I know you can re freeze bread, but if the veggies are soft and not still cold I would get rid of them. If the meat is still cold you could re freeze that also, I don't know about the dessert.

The Ground beef still hard the one pound and one and a half pounds. The frozen veggies were cold but soft as were the tater tots. We will eat the thawed all ready made desserts. The Croissants all had to go as they were soft. It gives me a chance to clean it out. UGH!!!
