I sure hope they do not tank the organic companies they bought out or made deals with in the last few years. I cannot drink non-organic dairy, so if those go away, it will be plant-based for me.

I got a good deal on Friendly's yesterday - two "half gallons" for $3.00. As for Land 'O Lakes, why is butter so expensive? It's no wonder people are moving to dairy alternatives.
i will pay more for kerrygold irish butter.
otherwise, the other day i paid $10.98 for four pounds of butter at sams club.....so about $2.75/pound.

The price of butter is unbelievable! I wait until the holidays for the past few years - they have it on sale at a significant savings (maybe for a week) for holiday baking. I buy a bunch and freeze it to use in the future. This approach has saved me lots of money with no difference in the quality of the product. It is just about time for it to go on sales again...I hope they still offer it this year.

I started taking cholesterol pill just so I could eat butter. I tried the old fashion way changing to "can't believe it's not butter', and giving up choc milk, cottage cheese, 1 hamburger a week, 1 egg a month, butter buds powder on baked potatoes. On and on like that.
My cholesterol went from 226 to 223 ! Big deal, I said 'Forget that and got on cholesterol pill and will have blood test in March to see if it's doing the job.
