I'm so frustrated that all the parts don't fit in the bin. Watching the presentation they made a point of saying everything fit in one place. I'll be returning it because I don't have space for lots of parts and I'll complain to hsn- I wouldn't have bought it had I known the truth. I will say I didn't watch every presentation, but I don't think I should have to....

I didn't watch all of the presentations but I watched several of them & EVERY SINGLE HOST (and Curtis) made the statement that all of the extra accessories would fit in the food storage bin, which they don't.

I just called hsn and they will refund my return shipping as it was false advertising. The woman I spoke to was very helpful.

I received mine and I am having a hard time getting the top off so I could replace it with the proper attachment to cut quarters it is set up now as the one to chop or slice potatoes etc

I hope you all understand what I am talking about , can anyone that has this tell me how to change the top part out so I could put the proper attachment to slice quarters

Hi Starlight, I know what you mean and the best way to do that is to unlock the top part and pull it out so it is now abot 10 inches tall with the legs extended. Now set it on the counter so that the lock is on your right as you are looking down on it.

Now look on the RIGHT half of the part you are trying to change and you will see that it looks more complicated vs the left which is straighter.

Now to the rather immediate right of the curved pieces on the uop and bottom there is a little pice of plastic that you need to push up on the top and down on the bottom and in doing so you should be now able to see how to remove the pushing piece. It helps if you use your nails to move these pieces so there is a freeing.

Now I think this is a design flaw that needs to be addressed as even following this procedure it is not a cinch.

An even easier way if you do not mind holding it is to pick it up and press up on the upper tab and push towards you at the same time and it should lift out.

Hope this helps ???

Just got mine and can't believe that the pieces don't all fit in the unit {#emotions_dlg.scared} Why in the world would they tell us that they fit when they don't? Going to give it a try anyway to see how it works, but my first impression was disappointment.

Same here.I tried it today to make zucchini fries & I like it, it did a great job chopping the zucchini into fries. I was debating whether to keep it or not, I think I'm going to keep it. If I change my mind, I'll ask my daughter if she wants it.

I got mine from HSN as their TSV a couple weeks ago. I used it once and it is already on the way back. I hoped it would be easier for me than the Genius Bowl since I have carpal tunnel and arthritis. NOT. Many times while making a tossed salad the cutter blade under the food ended up stuck to the top blade thing and I had to keep putting it back down where it belonged. I did not get nice clean 1/2 inch square pieces of vegetables. When I used the egg slicer the wires bent, never to be nice slices if they ever were. I use the 1/2 inch square chopper blade for egg salad anyhow and most of my tossed salad veggies. Not all the attachments fit in the drawer as they said it would on the all day presentations I saw. I tried the celery sticks and some were so thin or small that I could not use them for dipping hummus. I thought I had found the "better mousetrap", but the three Genius items I have are so much better. The push button cleaner for the Genius also makes it well worth the money. It took a little time to learn how to make it work the best, but now I think the Genius bowl hung the moon. I got an email asking for a review the day after I got the product. Now I am ready to write a review and cannot get to the product. It is not on the website anymore. I found elsewhere that it only has like a 2.5 star rating. Would not even give it that. Plus, what a pain to have to send a card to get a refund instead of getting a magazine I have no interest in. Stick with the Genius brand if you have one already.

Your "review" totally confirms my husband's and my impression from watching the presentation. It reminded me of the gadgets I used to see at home shows, where the hawker knew exactly how to make it look easy and effective when in fact it was a piece of -- well, it wasn't a quality product.
