I lost a lot of respect for Meredith and Rick during the midnight presentation when a caller specifically asked about warranty information on the pan. They knew doggone well what he meant and they gave the schpeel about QVC's 30 day guarantee. As a VIEWER, I clearly knew what information he was asking for. I wondered what was up and why they wouldn't give a more precise answer so I went online to check. The pan is only warrantied for 60 days! That is why they didn't say it!

Not true!!!!  They will give you your money back in the next 60 days if you aren't happy with it.  The pans have a lifetime warranty.  This information is straight from the Copper Chef site.  I can copy and paste it from there if you can't find it.

The reason I bothered to look is because I remember when I bought mine at Sams Club, it said "Lifetime Warranty" right on the box.

Ok I do not understand this pan. How can it be soo good for some and soo bad for others when the same care is taken. I am thinking about the larger one they have and the induction burner. Can you help figure this out? TIA

I don't understand it either.  I use mine constantly and it looks like new.  I've had it since October (I think).

I have even broiled stuff in mine!  It is heat safe to 850 degrees!

The set that is Today's Special Value is a different size.  It's the smaller 9 1/2 in square pan.

It also comes with the glass press & silicone-tipped tongs in addition to the glass lid, steamer tray and cookbook.  Also, the price is the lowest "ever" and there is no S/H.  To me, that's a good deal.  I ordered one from the pre-sale email I received.

Smaller size, bigger size, it just feels like they are ***always*** pushing this product. I wish they would find some new things.

Sort of like those Epilady and Turbie Twist commercials back in the 90's. Plugged like crazy and now you never hear about them.  *shrug* And yes, I am sure some loved the Epilady and the Turbie Twist.

I guess the copper pan company has to hurry up and move their supply of pans before everyone grows weary of this one and the next gadget appears on the horizon.   Surely everyone who wants one has bought it by now.   I have one and it's okay but I don't hold out much hope for passing it down to the next generation.

Sorry, but I think you're wrong.  Daughter ordered the casserole set from TV about five weeks ago.  She still has not received her set.  Two separate calls over a period of time have gotten her the same excuse. They are sold out and everything is being back ordered.  She still hopes to get it one day, but it has been a while now and the excuse is still the same. So it would seem that they are selling above and beyond what they have available.  (BTW they haven't billed her yet, as they say they don't bill until they ship.)

BTW, one of my children gave me two pans for Christmas, and I absolutely love them. Wish I could get a smaller skillet for  eggs and a couple of saucepans.

Re: Copper Chef Pan set being plugged again..?!?

The only reason I wouldn't purchase that pan is because of that super slippery coating.  Something tells me it's some sort of chemical sprayed on top of ceramic.

I'll stick to my Le Creuset.  Heart
