Cooking with Chef Zakarian on Q2

[ Edited ]

Did anyone watch?  I don't normally watch kitchen stuff (even though I love to cook).  Shawn was hosting and she got me hooked because she asked all the questions I had about cast iron, opening wine and keeping wine fresh and storing it,, she sold me a cool temperature gadget that I never would have bought   I'm not always a fan but she kept my attention the whole time on this show.

Glad you found a happy spot.   Am tired of all the negatives about this host.  If you like funeral types, Shawn is not that.........over the top at times, yes.......but that's okay .

We all have our days...........

@simplyfriends

I can see how this could be an engaging show. Believe Shawn has said in the past that she is not great in the kitchen (I could be wrong, but I thought I heard that once or twice). If it isn't her comfort zone, I can absolutely understand how she could be very curious and -- ask allllllllllll of the questions, as you say. She had a captive audience with GZ, who is a fountain of knowledge. Why not ask away while she had the opportunity?

Glad you enjoyed it!

   Over all  am tired of hearing many of  the Hosts  go on endlessly abt their lack of culinary skills  all the while  speaking over/ interrupting  the Chefs during presentations

Re: Cooking with Chef Zakarian on Q2

Can't seem to get to Mr Zakarian on other sites. So, please oblige me with an opportunity to connect to him.

I bought the beautiful 9" and 12" frying pans and I love them. However, I would love it if he had a pair of glass lids to fit them. Last nights use ended in a "kitchen" argument because we couldn't find a lid that fit the 9" frying pan other than the gigantic one size fits all lid. Please indulge me sir.

PS: Really love your mandolin that I own-all the fear is gone as experienced with the other ones I have.
