We're going back a long ways, but does anyone remember Fudgetown cookies? I don't think they've been around since the 80's now or maybe earlier. It was a chocolate sandwich cookie with chocolate inside. Not gourmet but they were so good!

OMG - my most favorite cookie ever! I sooo miss those.

The Nabisco Lemon Drops with the powdered sugar. I forget what they are called. But a box was not safe around me!

@avid shopper  Are we thinking about the same cookie?

@sunshine45Maybe that's the one!

Were they called lemon coolers? I loved those too!

THOSE!!!  🎉. 👍🏻💕

I loved them.  I think they were called Golden somethingorothers.

Fruitanas, I believe.

For those who like the Malomars and maybe cannot find them, you might enjoy the Pinwheels.  They are made by Nabisco and, thankfully, I'm finding them in plentiful supply again.

There is a chocolate cookie bottom that's not hard but not totally soft either.  I think it's just soft enough so it doesn't compress, but yet it's not crunchy at all.   (I'm not much for hard cookies anyway) It is covered in a good amount of marshmallow (this is a shape with a hole in the middle).  Then, the whole thing is covered in a thin shell of chocolate.

These are so good that I hate it when I don't have any.  I do have to do portion control.  I only allow myself to eat two of them in a given day.

Of course, I have a Lock & Lock that fits 4 packages of them, so I keep it full whenever possible.  Smiley Happy   If they run out again, I'm set for a while.

Archway Molasses cookies. My great grandmother used to buy these when she still lived in her house and after she quit baking herself. She said they tasted the most like what she used to bake.

Haven't seen these in years!  They had a different type of marshmallow in them and were stuck to the cookie with a honey type filling.  They we among my favorite cookies from years ago.

Re: Cookies You Loved That Aren't Available Now

@ECBG  I can't find Nabisco Cameo cookies anymore at the store.  I do see Keebler's counterpart called Vienna Fingers but I preferred the Cameos.

Also, Nabisco used to sell an assortment in a rectangular shaped box called Nabisco's Famous Cookie Assortment.  It had a variety of their popular cookies all in one box.

And while they still make and sell them, I don't like what they did with their Lorna Doones.  Instead of Nabisco having a box of them with 2 sleeves of the cookies, they now are sold more for single servings.  They come prepackaged with like 2 in each little packet .....great for lunch boxes or on the run, but not if you are home and serving them.  Seems like a waste or an added expense.

Just my 2¢

A favorite of mine, too! They were Sunshine Raisin Biscuits. My mother always had them in our house for herself and for my dad.

I order a version of them now from Amazon -- Brand name Crawford's. The older version was a little better (tastier "crust") but I enjoy the Crawford's very much. They are almost the same.

Great with a cup of tea and a good book. Now I read in my living room as a grown-up.Smiley Happy

@ECBG Not exactly a cookie, but something sweet that are no longer available.....if anyone remembers Howard Johnson's..... Or as they were lovingly called Ho Jo's.  (turns out they were ahead of their time doing the nickname abbreviation thing, LOL).  Anyway, they had a product that they packaged and sold in stores in the freezer section....Blueberry Toasties.

They also had corn and I believe an orange flavor , too.  But I miss the blueberry ones.  They were so good... You would toast them and then put a pat of butter on them and it would melt on there, just like a pancake.  I always loved them.  💙
