Do you have one you would like to share? Here's mine......
Grease splatter
I HATE cleaning up grease behind foods that splatter all over the stove. YUK!!
I decided to put Bounty to work by dampening the sheets & placing them around the electric rack prior to cooking foods that splatter.
Below pic is what my stove looks like while fixing a hamburger pattie.
After hamburger was done & in my bun, I wiped the 2 tiny exposed areas w/the damp paper towels. My stove was still clean.....no grease splatter.
Using a top/cover/splatter rack did not work for me. When I took the top off to flip and/or stir it's splatter time! ![]()

This ia a great time saver! Thank you.
I too hate it so I very seldom brown burger. I buy in 10+ pounds at a time and then 'brown' it on cooking sheets in the oven (350-400 for 15-20 minutes, drain the fat and pack it in 1# bags that go into a larger vacuum freezer bag and into the freezer. When I need it I grab a bag, defrost it and dinner is started.

When I need to spray a baker with Pam or Baker's Joy, I open the dishwasher door and set the baker on the open door. Then when I spray, the overspray is on the dishwasher door and not the floor or counters. It's washed away in the next load!

I love my silicone, floppy lids for use in the microwave. Keeps steam and splatter off walls and just put them in the dishwasher. Several years old and going strong.

We have black appliances which are just nasty with water spots after cleaning. I end up using windex and a paper towel to get the water spots off.

I saved old towels that I cut up to use for different projects and they works well to prevent splatters. (I use a number of different sizes) I keep them in a drawer right next to the stove top and pull them out and lay around.
I tried using paper towels, but they tend to catch fire so easy, and the cotton toweling only chars a little bit. After a few uses I toss them in the laundry. I use Windex to clean the wells around the burner. I also use a splatter guard on top of the skillet.

Using peroxide on cutting boards sanitizes them for the next use.

Sorry but I would NEVER put paper towels so close to a hot burner! Perhaps just put the lid on the pan to prevent grease spatter.
