I buy lofthouse sometimes for my teenage son, but he does prefer the cheryls. it was recently his birthday and I got him the frosted cookies and the chocolate chips. he likes that they are individually wrapped and how fresh they stay.
they are not hard at all......soft and crumbly and not quite as sweet as the lofthouse.
I try to get them either when they are on sale OR when I can find a good coupon. they are also on mr rebates.

Love the softness of the cookie (don't get the person that said they are hard) and the BC frosting is amazing! and NO they don't sell the identical ones at wal-mart!! who makes this stuff up????

I bought them once a couple of years ago for myself. I thought they were okay, but nothing special. I agree with some who have said the frosting was too sweet - seemed to me to overpower the cookie. And I really didn't like the snickerdoodle at all, which was one that I was especially looking forward to, seeing as how people had raved about how delicious it was.
In fact, today while going through my freezer I found a bag of the plain sugar cookies still there! So they certainly weren't something I just had to eat. I never ordered again; I can make my own for a lot less.
I was also unimpressed with David's (bought a combo of brownies and crumb cakes). The brownies I ate, but the crumb cakes are....yep, you've guessed it! Still in the freezer. (I really need to clean out my freezer.)

I've only eaten one Cheryl's cookie. I got it last month in the mail from my sister. It was so cute in it's own little box. I have to say it was pretty tasty. It was extremely sweet though.

Wish that female vendor rep would get a new hair-do color. Pull-thru-the-cap highlighting has had its day!

They're too expensive, really. Home-made will taste so much better. And each cookie is individually wrapped - talk about excessive packaging. However, I guess if you're sending a gift to someone far away, it's convenient.
