I like the cookies but no way are they worth the price. Walmart bakery has the identical cookie for $2.98/dozen. Lofthouse cookies are the same too.

I like Cheryl's cookies. I buy them every year at Easter time. They are pricey, but I really like the buttercream frosting, so they are worth it to me.

My 90 year old father loves them so I put him on the cookie club. At his age he deserves to eat what he wants.

Although I have not ever tried them, I have read here that they are similar in texture and taste to the Lofthouse-type cookies (I can get these at Target or my local grocery store where I live). I personally do not like that kind of cookie taste. But my younger son adores them and every once in a while I have to buy a package. Like every few months I give in! I actually have made my own "Lofthouse-Style" cookies for him and I think I got the recipe here on the Kitchen & Food board. Smiley Happy

I think the Lofthouse Cookies are much better than Cheryl's. The best thing I've bought from TV has been David's Cookies crumb cakes. I've had them on AD for about two years and just love them. I'd like to have their recipe.

I was always curious about these cookies since they seem popular on the q, but never purchased them. I bake often so felt no need to buy them. One year at Christmas, my company received them from a vendor. I did not like them. Cookes are tasteless and the frosting overly sweet. Filler candy too. Not impressed

Well, that settles it. I have no need to buy Cheryl's Thanks to those who confirmed that Lofthouse are as good or better....and way, way more affordable, if I ever decide to buy any.

Once I bought Lofthouse for my father instead of Cheryl's. He thought they were awful. I thought they had a chemical taste. Cheryl's chocolate chip, and snicker doodles are great.

Best cookies ever! Love the softness of the cookie (don't get the person that said they are hard) and the BC frosting is amazing! and NO they don't sell the identical ones at wal-mart!! who makes this stuff up????

I so agree with you.
