@Kachina624  I wasn't born yet for fruit loops.

Here in my part of Tx we never did get Lemon cheerios !

I'm eating 'Fruity' tomorrow.

Trying to learn to chew again with this ********** flipper in my mouth. Fractured a tooth, that had to be pulled out by a oral surgeon, couple of stitches. Bled like a stuck pig.

while I was waiting to get that one pulled I cracked one on the other side it could be bonded though.

good way to lose weight though.

thanks @SharkE  for explaining the look and flavor of the new cheerios!

you must be pretty young!......froot loops have been around since 1963! its mascot, toucan sam, was also very popular. they were definitely popular in the 60s and 70s when i was growing up AND was popular when my kids were young in the 90s and 2000s.

@sunshine45

I was just pulling Kachina's leg she knows I'm no Spring chicken.  I try to get by with it all the time.

She probably said "yeah, right". LOL

Fruity flavor. New, for me. Another 'limited edition'.

We haven't liked Cheerios for quite awhile. After raising our kids and feeding them plain Cheerios and dealing with sooo many plain Cheerios smeared everywhere in the church nursery, the mere smell of them was enough to make me gag.

However, we recently discovered Oat Crunch (oats and honey) Cheerios while in a Walmart shopping for groceries on vacay. Hubs thinks they are da' bomb! lol

These peach and mango ones aren't nearly as good as the Lemon from last year!  Those were absolutely wonderful in my cereal world anyway!  I'm normally bran flakes only girl.

For years I have been eating Honey Nut Cheerios, went looking for the 'Lemon' (or something fruity) Cheerios at my local grocer's found none, came across Cheerios Oat Crunch Oats 'n Honey, been eating this cereal for awhile now for breakfast, it's pretty good and quite filling too!

As someone who hates anything and everything lemon

(pie, cereal, muffins, lemonade, dish soap and furniture polish!) I am glad I never noticed the lemon flavor folks are talking about.

However, as a huge Froot Loops freak I am looking forward to trying these fruity Cheerios.  Sometimes a different version of the same idea is better....sometimes not.

I tried the Chocolate Cheerios and discovered that Cocoa Puffs have nothing to worry about.  Life cereal is O.K. but the old Corn Chex were better IMO.

Plain old Cheerios and plain old Special K will always be cozying up next to the Froot Loops and Cocoa Puffs in my cabinet.
