I miss the days when an enameled cast iron pan on QVC & HSN sold for under $100. Will QVC ever revive their cast iron brand?

Do you mean the Techniques ( or Technique) line they used to sell?
You may be able to find some on E-bay...a quick look shows 1400 listings, many new in box or unused,, and most identified as "Technique" (no "S") in the description....so it's not clear if those are from QVC....
I searched under "Techniques Cast Iron".
hope this helps!

@Northerngal You can get enamelled cast iron from Lodge. The under $100.00 is made in China. If you want cookware made in USA or France (Le Creuset) you will be paying much more. If you find any enamelled cast iron under $100.00, it is made in China. My Dutch oven from Lodge was, and it has lasted quite a long time. Sometimes Amazon has sales on Le Creuset and Staub.

Oh, I hope not.
I bought two pieces. Both pieces lost their white interior and are stained with the black cast iron showing through.
Amazon sells a few brands of enameled cast iron pans and casserole dishes for less than $100. There are many great reviews.
I haven't had much luck with cookware sold on QVC... from Technique to T-Fal none of it lasted.

I have several pieces from HSN's Shop HQ line and I really love them.

@Northerngal If you have a Home Goods or TJ Maxx I recommend check there for these items. You can find some great prices.

For what it's worth, the line was actually called Technique (no "s" at the end). I still have many pieces going strong, including an enameled cast iron Dutch oven that I bought in 2010.

I have been checking for months at the local TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods stores but they only have the standard cast iron in stock. Thanks though!

The problem with making a LC purchase at Marshalls/TJM/Homegoods, is that sometimes the pieces don't get through the entire glazing process before they are dumped there. If they fail inspection before they are done being processed (but processed enought to be usable) they can be sent off to those stores. You really have to inspect the pieces carefully, and frankly, the prices are not all that great for a sub par piece. The LC website often has great clearance prices on first quality items.
